Award-Winning Musician and Philanthropist
“For everybody who’s ready to make change happen, for people who have decided we can’t afford to wait any longer…I want you to know how inspired people have been to know that they can help break the cycle of poverty, improve people’s lives, giving them an opportunity to help themselves. I’ve seen the level of excitement from both those who help and those who are helped!” - John Legend
Recognized as one of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People of 2009,” John Legend earned high praise for his music and philanthropy from Seattle’s own musical legend Quincy Jones. A winner of six Grammy awards with over five million album sales, Legend continues to draw sell out crowds across the globe for his concerts and speaking engagements. It is with great pleasure that Hopelink invites John Legend to speak about his philanthropic work and inspire us with his music at the 2010 Reaching Out Luncheon on October 18th at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.
Suggested minimum donation is $150 per person. All proceeds benefit Hopelink programs.
Seating is limited - guests are encouraged to register early for this signature Hopelink event.
