Hopelink secures funding for new and existing transportation programs
Tuesday, January 10, 2012 - Vital new transportation programs offered throughout King County are now up and running while others will remain online for at least the next two years, thanks to a $786,778 award in federal and state funding. Hopelink recently received notice from the Washington State Department of Transportation that it was awarded grants for its new Ride Around the Sound program and information kiosks serving veterans and medical facilities, as well as the existing Mobility Management program.
Hopelink receives $237,000 grant to focus on long-term strategy
Wednesday, December 07, 2011 - Hopelink has been chosen as one of nine agencies nationwide to join a 3-year pilot project aimed at boosting the use of strategic planning in nonprofit organizations. The funding from the Alliance for Children and Families will enable Hopelink to hire a Chief Strategy Officer to lead the agency’s participation in Strategy Counts!, an Alliance initiative that will help nonprofits think about their day-to-day services in the context of future needs.
Hopelink and Multi-Service Center Form New Partnership
Wednesday, December 07, 2011 - Redmond-based Hopelink and the Multi-Service Center (MSC) in Federal Way have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will enable the social services agencies to share information and expertise in their work helping families in crisis get back on their feet. The strategic alliance also opens the door to the possibility of shared staffing for mutual programs.
