Hopelink Welcomes Donations from the Garden
Hopelink is welcoming donations of fresh fruits and vegetables from home gardeners to help feed families in need in North and East King County. By contributing a portion of their harvest to Hopelink food banks, gardeners can enable low-income and homeless people to include these fresh, nutritious foods in their diets. Many families choose to make this form of giving a part of their family's gardening plans.
Donations of produce should be fresh and in excellent consumable condition. Hopelink
accepts produce donations year-round.
If you are interested in donating fresh fruits or vegetables from your garden to a Hopelink food bank, you are encouraged to contact your nearest Hopelink food bank to find out when to deliver your donation. Doing so will enable Hopelink to ensure that your donated produce can be provided to the families that Hopelink serves in a timely fashion. You may provide your donation to one of Hopelink's food banks in Bellevue, Bothell, Carnation, Kirkland, or Redmond. Their phone numbers and addresses are listed here.
