On Oct 10, 2007 over 30 FedEx volunteers will spend the day at Hopelink Place and Adelle Maxell Center constructing a new storage shed and restoring the playground. These volunteers are a part of FedEx Cares Week, a national campaign in 14 cities with over 2000 employees participating.

Along with this gift of 'sweat equity', FedEx Corporate office has also supported the work of Hopelink with three cash gifts totally $19,000. Hopelink Place provides transitional housing to homeless families so that they can build assets to move into permanent housing. Adelle Maxell Center is located next door and provides high quality child development care for homeless and low income families as they move towards self-sufficiency.
