Hopelink volunteer displays her extensive “Christmas Village” collection in her home to benefit needy Snoqualmie Valley families.

Carnation, WA – Duvall resident and Hopelink volunteer Connie Palazzolo is displaying her very large Christmas Village collection in a holiday open house, in exchange for donations to Hopelink’s Sno-Valley center.

Mrs. Palazzolo has been collecting Department 56 Christmas Village houses and accessories since 1979. She now has 113 lighted houses plus hundreds of accessories on display in her living room, covering three 24-foot tables and one ten-foot table. A Hopelink food bank and holiday gift room volunteer for more than four years, Mrs. Palazzolo sees her open house as another way to support Hopelink’s goal of helping needy Snoqualmie Valley families. Visitors coming to the open house are asked to bring non-perishable food items or new, unwrapped gifts and clothing.

The open house will be held on December 9, 10, 16 and 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 13002 – 322nd Ave NE, in Duvall. Cookies and cider will be served. For more information, please call Ms. Palazzolo at 425.788.0965.
