Volunteers Needed to Help Hopelink Give Hope to Shoreline People in Need

Prospective volunteers are invited to attend orientation April 2, 2008.
Shoreline, Wash. - Hopelink's Adult Education and other programs are constantly looking for volunteers to give hope to people in need in Shoreline. Hopelink's Shoreline center at 15809 Westminster Way N. needs volunteers to:
  • Tutor adults as they prepare to take their General Education Development (GED) exam.
  • Drive to deliver food to homebound clients.
  • Work in the food bank during daytime and evening food bank hours.

Training for all volunteer positions is provided. Volunteers must be comfortable communicating in English. Learn more about volunteering at a volunteer orientation meetings on Wednesday, April 2, at the Hopelink Shoreline center, starting promptly at 1:00 p.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m.
