Executive Leadership Council

The Hopelink Executive Leadership Council provides high-level advice and support to Marilyn Mason-Plunkett, Hopelink President and CEO, and the agency’s executive staff. Membership is by invitation and open to those who may have only a few hours to contribute a year and those who can devote significant amounts of time to a committee, project, or ongoing activity.

Additionally, members of the ELC use their professional and social networks to help tell the story of Hopelink in the community and advocate for the work we do.  This can be done in very informal ways like simply telling your network about Hopelink, to more formal ways such as being a table captain for our annual Reaching Out Luncheon.

Purpose:
To build and strengthen Hopelink’s mission by involving a group of talented people with visionary, professional, and strategic philanthropic and entrepreneurial skills and expertise.

ELC Activities:

  • Projects, committees, and other work opportunities with varying time commitments and involvement levels.
  • Leadership opportunities for committee participation, events, and projects.
  • Quarterly meetings where you will meet other ELC members and hear timely and thought provoking presentations about the issues around poverty and community response.
  • Serve as an ambassador and advocate on behalf of Hopelink within the community.
  • Participation as an informal adviser to Hopelink’s executive staff and an advocate for Hopelink.
