Community Service Opportunities
Community Service (for Court, School, or other reasons) may be served at our Emergency Service Centers. Our Emergency Service Centers are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 – 5 pm (with occasional evening opportunities.) Availability for opportunities to serve community service during these times is dependent upon site needs.
In order to complete required community service, visit one of our Emergency Service Centers to fill out the community service application and background check form. At that time, you may also speak with the Food Bank Coordinator at that site to determine how you might be able to help out, while at the same time fulfill the required hours.
Due to the nature of our agency and the services we provide, we do require that volunteers be at least 12 years of age and accompanied by an adult until the age of 16. The opportunities for this age group are limited. In accordance with our policy to maintain client confidentiality, only volunteers 16 or older may work directly with clients.
Please contact Hopelink’s Volunteer Coordinator with any further questions: 425.869.6066 or volunteer@hope-link.org.
