If your group is interested in organizing an event to support Hopelink, keep in mind that the possibilities are endless.
Here are a few themes to get you started:
- Neighborhood food drive
- Host a rummage sale
- Sell raffle tickets for a "day off of work" and donate the proceeds
- Share the proceeds from a business opening, organization’s auction or a school play
- Donate candy or pop machine funds for a month
- Sponsor a cash or gift drive with incentive prizes to participants
- Partner with Hopelink at an annual fair or celebration
- Hold a silent auction at your workplace or club meeting
- Sponsor a car wash, bake sale, craft fair or potluck
- Ask other people in your workplace or organization to donate the cost of a lunch and host a "brown bag" lunch
- Birthday parties w/food, cash donations instead of presents
