Hopelink's 13th Annual REACHING OUT Benefit Luncheon

Featuring keynote speaker Edward James Olmos
actor, director/producer, community activist.

Monday, October 20, 2008
Meydenbauer Center, Bellevue, WA, Noon - 1:15pm

Luncheon Co-chairs Scott and Ally Svenson invite you to meet Mr. Olmos' challenge to "reach out to your neighbor" by helping Hopelink to raise over $1,000,000 to help families meet their needs for food, shelter, homelessness prevention, family development and stabilization, transportation, energy assistance, and adult literacy skills.

Here's how you can help:
  • Guest - Support Hopelink and reserve your place at the Luncheon by emailing your name and the names of your guests to rsvp@hope-link.org. A invitation will be sent to you by mail with Luncheon details unless you indicate in your email that you have already received one.
  • Table Captain - Sign up to be a table captain and bring together family, friends and colleagues at your own table of ten guests for the Luncheon. Please contact venetiav@hope-link.org to become a table captain.
  • Pacesetter - Make a pre-luncheon gift at leadership levels between $1,000 and $25,000 to inspire others to make their best gift at the Luncheon. Please contact ezzyr@hope-link.org to make your leadership gift.
  • Corporate Sponsor - Small family business and large corporations help us reach our financial goals and heighten awareness of our community's needs and Hopelink's services to the business community through their sponsorship of the Luncheon. Sponsorship levels benefits range from $1,500 to $25,000. To become a corporate sponsor contact ksherwood@hope-link.org.

Private donations are critical to sustain Hopelink's more than 40 programs and services. Last year we raised over $4 million in private contributions and corporate support and over $1 million of it was raised at the luncheon! Your support is critical to meeting that goal again this year.

Olmos' message, "We're All in the Same Gang," speaks to our ability and need to work together to strengthen our community. Given the current economic challenges families are experiencing we must work together to reach our $1,000,000 goal again this year. A minimum $150 donation is suggested.
