HELPING KIDS GET READY FOR SCHOOL
More than 1,800 students from low-income families on the Eastside will need help to start the school year prepared and ready to
learn this September. With the help of local companies, organizations and individuals, Hopelink's School Supply Drive will supply backpacks and
school supplies to kids who, without help, would not have the school supplies they need.
Hopelink's School Supply Drive is collecting monetary donations as well as backpacks, dictionaries, notebooks, paper, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, folders and binders - among other supplies, for local kids from low-income families. The school supplies will be distributed this August at Hopelink's six food bank locations.
To make a cash or in-kind donation, you may go to any of Hopelink's six emergency service centers, call 425.869.6000 or go to Hopelink's secure donation site. For more information you email teresaa@hope-link.org.
