Listed below are some of our current volunteer needs:
  • Grocery Store Food Pick-up Drivers - Pick up donations at area grocery stores and deliver to food banks
  • Food delivery drivers to homebound clients - Deliver goods to individuals who are unable to get to weekly food banks
  • After school tutors - Work with children on their homework for two hours in the late afternoon once or twice a week
  • Childcare assistants - Play with pre-school children and help teachers with activities
  • Basic Literacy Tutor-Help adult students study for the GED test or improve basic literacy skills.

You will also learn about other volunteer opportunities at the Hopelink food banks, child developmental centers and transitional housing facilities.
